Who: The people who fall outside the boundary for coffee ice cubes, are the coffee shops that don't take into consideration their unhappy iced coffee drinkers. Although, I've been to one coffee shop in my time that actually sells coffee ice cubes, I have never seen them in grocery stores or any other local or wide scale coffee shops.
What: I think my need is quite unique, I think it would be hard to come up with something similar and as effective. There could be a whole line of coffee ice cube flavors and coffee strength.
Why: Overall, coffee ice cubes received positive feedback, I think I will need to take into consideration, the time it would take to implement the ice cubes and the money that would be spend doing so.

Hi Nicole. I think you analysis is really good. The way you have placed the who, what and why in their respective boundaries makes it very easy to realise the surroundings of the idea.
ReplyDeleteHey Nicole, after reading your post I feel as though coffee ice cubes could be profitable. Although I am not a coffee drinker, I too do not like watered down drinks and think that if a business, such as Starbucks, were to implement these "coffee cubes" into their coffees it could open the door for selling the products in stores.
ReplyDeleteHi Nicole,
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a coffee drinker but I believe that this is a very smart idea. It is one of the many innovative ideas that make me wonder "why doesn't this exist already?" because it makes so much logical sense. Since it received such positive feedback you could even take this idea and expand to other drinks cubes such a fruit drinks since no one enjoys their fruit drink watered down after it has been sitting for a while. I also agree with you in that your need is unique and also has a very specific target audience.
Hello Nicole! To get it on the market quick, maybe you should get a job at a local coffee shop and talk to the manager about adding it to the menu and seeing how many customers like it. Also, you will be able to get valuable feedback on the pros and cons and what you could improve on. You said you went to a coffee shop that sold coffee ice cubes. That seems like the perfect place to ask them questions and get valuable feedback. They will know how the customers like them and what problems they run into.
